Newby from Nelson. Richmond really but it doesn't run the same.

Retired last year & keen to get out & about again, my go to rifle is a BSA Hunter/Viscount, originally in 7x57 but rebarrelled by Din Collings into a 257x57, it says so on the side. I've had a look around the last couple of days & like what I see pretty much, the lack of politics & religion is a plus to my mind, there is plenty of other stuff to beef about. See you around.

Welcome aboard. As @stingray says, there is a good bunch of blokes around your way and I'm sure you will end up catching up with some of them.

    Welcome aboard
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Hey, thats a nice calibre, Id be wondering if it is in fact a "257 Roberts" which is the 7x57 case with a 257 bullet. In any case welcome aboard and I can speak from experience - that is a very capable rifle, I sold my very fine Mauser 257 (to John Duxbury) several years ago and immediately regretted it!
