    Newish hunter.... first time poster.

    Hey guys.

Names lars, from kapiti. Been hunting about a year and a bit now , a couple of mates have been teaching ke to hunt..... troy and. Have 3 boys. Took them out to a hut we frequent a couple of weeks ago. They loved it. 7, 5 and 3.5 years old. I seperated from my wife a year ago and have been with my amazing new girl since jorja, whos getting into hunting. Have had a few close encounters so far with deer etc. Up umakarikari etc with one of my good mates was close to a good roaring red. Went to spot x a few weeks ago and got my first kill. Attached is a few pics. Also into diving and fishing in kapiti. Have a 7.5m boat. Found out recently one of my best mates is an admin in here. I shoot a browning xbolt .308 supressed with a zeiss scope. Which is what i shot my first with. Also have a 7mm rem mag with a burris 2-12@50, has quick release mounts to mount up my thermal scope ... brought some night vision again a while ago and we brought a hunting truck lol. Always keen to get out and hunt, dive or fish.... keen whenever anyone is interested. Keen to take kids with also. My boys loved it.

Magic Lars, you'd be the best dad in the world to those three happy chappy's. Welcome along.
