Welcome - I'll put my hand up, I've got a Vickers, had it since I was 18, about 1979, a Policeman in Chch sold me one that he'd converted to 22 Magnum, and gave me a brand new barrel. It sat round for several years, then I got into 3 position shooting with the small game shooters assn, and very accurate 22's were hard to come by, so I had a new stock made up for the 22 barrel, and it out-shot everything about, Brno's, Annies etc. I won many matches with it. It still has a place in my cabinet, when I get a bit uncertain if its a rifle or me shooting poorly, I haul it out and send a few groups, and it puts five into less than 0.5" at 50 of just about any quality ammo.
I also have a wee 218 Bee, built on a Cadet action, if you have a look at the last page of the "self isolation gun projects" thread you'll see it getting a very nice new scope base. And there have been many other over the years.
Enjoy your "martini's"
Good to see another addict in CHCH.
Have Martinis in 577/450 303 22hornet and 22rimfire.
Welcome to the club.
Welcome aboard. I drink Martini’s …. Does that count?
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Awesome guys! Cheers! How does that .22mag go Tentman?
I shot it out, the barrels are very soft and it only lasted a couple of thousand rounds as a 22 mag. It did shoot bloody well though!
Thats a shame. I had one reamed out a while ago, was hoping it would last longer than that though
