    Old Man joins forum

I have always enjoyed reading this forum to the extent a mate told me to join. Been shooting for a long time and taken the odd animal during the last 50 odd years. Currently using M96 6.5x55 Swedes; one in sporting configuration and the other (1916) in original nick with all numbers matching. Looking forward to more reading. (Ingrid 51.)

    Welcome. Enjoy.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Anyone able to identify this stockwood? I think it could be be Elm as rifle is 1916 manuf and Elm was used 1915 to 1917. Second guess would be Beech.
