    Professional rifle walker attempts hunting.

    Gidday,

I’ve been bashing around the bush in the north island, mainly (Kaimanawas and Pureoras) with my gun and mates for a few years now, Starting to take it a bit more seriously with the older I get. I’ve had one good mission down south which was eye opening to how lucky you southerners are.

Waikato born and bred (Chiefs mana), into everything outdoors. I’ve got a young dog who I want to see if I can teach it to point/hunt. She ain’t no special breed but I’ve heard it can be done…

Looking forward to developing my skills and trade stories with you all.

    Cheers.

agree completely with the above...... been down south for 30 years and was blown away by deer number when Ive gone back up north....and dog who walks at heal and stays quiet is an asset in the bush...even if ALL they ever do is help sniff out something you have already shot....and eventually start to act "differently" if something is close by..... they will be great mate to walk the hills with...always ready to go at minutes notice and wont care about the weather etc.
life is just so much better with a faithful hound at your side.
    welcome

    Welcome
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
