    Recent Lurker, New Member

    Hi folks!
    I've been lurking around the forum for a bit now- mostly reading loads of posts around various bush calibres, and the 223-6.5G-6.5CM-7M08-308-etc debates that go around from time to time.

    At the end of January this year, a good mate took me on my virgin DOC hunt up in the Kawekas (Middle Hill) which was an awesome experience and all.
    Saw loads of sign, heard a few hind, took a couple bunnies; but unfortunately didn't get a shot off or come home with Deer meat for the freezer.

    Regardless, it was a beautiful hike and excellent experience, one I can't wait to repeat again hopefully at some point this year!
