    Returned to NZ

Hi all, have just arrived back in NZ after 7 years working overseas. Originally located on the Kapiti coast with many happy memories of shooting at the NZDA Hutt valley branch range at Kaitoke, and with Wellington NZAHAA.

There have been a few changes in the shooting world whilst I've been away..... looking forward to getting back into it and meeting fellow shooters & collectors in the Waitakere/Auckland area.

Welcome back and welcome aboard. Yes, much has changed in the last seven years but the joy of firearms sporting interests are still available to be partaken in.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

Welcome back Rich, not much have changed on Kapiti coast and Kaitoke is pretty much still as awesome as it was.

Thanks for all the replies, looking forward to heading down to Wellington/Kapiti at some point to see old friends, remind myself of the views and drive the new SH1/Transmission Gully route. Is there any chance of the old Porirua range being reinstated now the road is built or is that gone forever?
