Thread: Surely Next Trip's the One!

Kia ora team,

Been into hunting for about 3 years now, but have been properly chasing deer in the Kaimais with my mate for the past year and a half. I’ve managed to get a few on private land way down south, but my mate’s still hanging out for his first. With work and uni keeping us tied up, the Kaimais have become our main hunting ground.

Haven’t managed to drop one yet up there, but we’ve had a few close calls and plenty of early mornings and long walks to show for it. Big thanks to everyone on here for all the info and advice you’ve shared – it’s helped us heaps along the way.

We’re keener than ever to get back out there, and I’ve got a good feeling the next trip could be the one. I honestly just want to see him get his first – he’s put in the hard yards and definitely deserves it. Here’s hoping!
