G'Day, Roger here,
Moved to Tassie about 7 years ago from Central West NSW...too hot and dry...
Loving it here, a bit of hunting, fishing, boating and fantastic weather. Work as a welder and I like to build my own guns.

Welcome aboard.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire

Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
G'day mate, welcome.
As a new tasmaniac I wonder if you have visited Liawenee? I'm told it it the capital of Australian boganism, which has always intrigued me. I've heard there is good hunting up there, if you survive the exposure.
I took the wife and kids there a couple years ago, was a great trip.

Welcome.
It's a fair few years since I visited Tassie. Best holiday we ever had in Oz.
Visited a few nooks and crannies eg Savage River but missed many too due to time contains.
Love to go back.
Had an ex work mate who had worked at Savage and another who had worked on King Island in a sheelite mine.
And another who was actually born in Grassy.
Dunno Ben, don't think I've been there but you've got me intrigued now so I'll check it out and let you know!
cheers
Roger

Love the Tassie people, mainland Aussies carry on like they are 6 fingered hicks and dumb as a bag of hammers, fark! I know who the dumbarses are and it ain't the Tassie mob! (To be fair I just might be biased!)
G'day from the hot and dry part of Western NSW
Welcome. Never been to Tas, but it looks like NZ with snakes. I'll pass!
build your own rifles....tell us more, show photos.... gun porn is always welcome.
Only a couple of snakes here MB, and they bugger off pretty quick...I came down from Orange CB, not as far out as you.
If you go to the Accuratereloading, NitroExpress and AfricanHunting forums you'll see some of my stuff ( look under....yumastepside ) but I'll post some of my stuff as I go along
...some stock work and the endless " in progress " stuff

Welcome aboard, we had a weeks holiday in Tassie a few years ago for my sister in law’s birthday bash and had a great time.
Shut up, get out & start pushing!
