Time to stop being a creep in the corner.

Hi guys, been following the forum for quite a while now and thought id finally join up and say hi.

Ive only shot a handful of animals but this guy is my latest. We spotted this tahr and a buddy of his at 400m and i decided to get a bit closer, took around an hour to sneak up on him and reduced the gap to 160. Was my first proper stalk and quite fun.
Found a very well placed flat rock in amongst the matagouri so i had a good rest, took a few deep breaths and BOOM! clean miss. Shot went a meter above him. Him and his mate bolted off into the shrub and disappeared. The shot spooked a deer that must've been bedded down fairly close so we were having a look where that went when we spotted the tahr again at 250.
Back on the ground, lined him up and drilled him right through the engine room. Was my 2nd bull tahr and went 13". Way bigger than my first.

Anyway, cheers for letting me join, ill try not to be too much of a cun..

Welcome. So you’ve met Tom then?
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Unfortunately yes. Actually Tom has been a great help in the last year or two since i started my quest into hunting/shooting, which is surprising since ive heard he couldnt hit the broad side of a barn at 50 meters.
