Thread: Waitomo hunting

The locals are very protective of "their" land and will abuse you and tell you to go elsewhere even if its public land. Ive notified DOC a few times of adjacent land owners keeping people out of public land but they do jack shit about it. Farmers are very unreceptive in the area too. Id head off to the north and south Pureora to hunt where you will only bump into other likeminded hunters on the roads in and have decent sized blocks to explore.
