Hello K98. I'd love to see a few photos of your K98's.

I sold my K98's when I move back to NZ, left only a sniper scope, I am looking for a good shooter to start another sniper project.

Yeah. I am big fun for those old ww2 guns, because this covid I lost a chance to buy a nice k98 which manufactured in 1939. The issue here is difficult to find cost effective 8mm rounds.

Thanks for your advise. I like the early war K98 too, with butt plate, walnut stock, loads of stamps and numbers, can kill lots of time! BTW, what's the better way to get a hand on some K98s? Auction, Gun Show?? I'm newbie on NZ firearm market.

Is it really hard to get those 8mm rounds, how about reloading? Sorry for throwing so many questions to you!!

Gun show is good place, bring cash. Or trade me. For ammo, I thought import through a licensed dealer is good option if we could buy in bulk, and then reload. Happy new year!
