For those who are interested… very close to buying a Bergara B14 with Leupold 3-9 and DPT suppressor in a package deal… seems pretty good to me, what’s everyone’s thoughts on Bergaras?

They are capable of shooting better than most of their owners.

For a 22 id just keep an eye out for a nice second hand one. Unlikley it will have a worn out barrel. And after looking for a while youl get a feel for the prices. Just because they are old doesnt mean they arent good quality

well you live in a great part of the country for hunting..... a .22lr and a .308 will see you right but a .223 just begs to be owned in fallow and goat country.

Those stirlings are actually pretty good until you need parts. The one I had would shoot whatever ammo you fed it to the same poa, and did small groups as well. never had another rife that could do that..
