    Wooops!

My bad guys. Been on the forum for awhile, and have posted in buy/sell alot, only just clicked i scraped through without doing an intro! The name is James, 25, father of two beautiful girls, and currently residing in Auckland! As you can probably tell, i buy/sell and swap alot. This is mainly due to not having alot of spare $$ for firearms, but having an absolute love for them, i chop and change alot to allow myself to experience different rifles.

I mainly do pest shooting, on a few properties in North Auckland, but also starting to get into some 200yd target shooting. I have a soft spot for Rugers, having owned about 13 of them, and putting together 10/22s. Currently setting up a Ruger Precision Rimfire for some "long range" rimfire shoots, hoping to jump up to the 6.5CM version this coming year!

Anyway, i look forward to getting more involved with the forum this year, sharing my limited knowledge, but also sponging up as much as knowledge as i can, cheers!!

Welcome. I have three daughters. The eldest is now 40. I can say that daughters are a treasure even during the teenage years.

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

Just remember daughters can hunt and shoot just as good as sons. Train and educate them, then you have ready made hunting partners.

Beside in future years no one gonna tangle with a girl who knows how to shoot. And if the want to be part of your family they had better know camping, gutting, butchering, camp cooking, 4 wheel driving. And worse if the dad knows how to do this as well.

    Enjoy the journey.
