Nice one. Kicked off mum already? Or maybe mum was shot.

Put a nice little eater like that on the hook last night. Still with mum.

Took the missus out for a evening hunt, saw three, shot one. She even carried it out for me

She'd do all of that (farm kid), but as it was pissing down and howling a gale I sorted the deer out quickly. Didn't stop us getting drenched though! Haha. Good evening out.

Kiwi lad goes to London, visits Windsor Park, cant shut him up about how cool it is to have deer in a metropolitan area.

Kiwi lad flies home. Wants to shoot everything.

I wish I could take my girls somewhere close to see the things that Dad disappears for days chasing.
Appreciate them close to home and give their bush cousins a hard time instead.
Not a dig at ARDave or anyone else, its just the kiwi mentality sometimes is a bit arse about face?

I have been lucky enough to live on a sporting estate in Scotland and lived in NY for 3 years and had a whitetail hind come and graze on the lawn couple times a week, so I know what you mean.

However most of the guys I know and certainly hunt with have a lot of respect for the opportunity we have here and don't abuse the privelige we have. For me I only take 1/2 dozen deer a year, let a few go on purpose and a few by design, like a lot of fellas I reckon.

When I seen the photo, must admit first thing that popped into my head was yum, but my freezer is empty at the moment...buggar.

Anyway, I think we have it pretty good, few ratbags but for the most part I think we treat our sport and quarry with the respect it deserves.

    My 2cents

    Dino

ps comment not taken as anything other than what it was Kiwijames, hope mine the same, not trying to start an argument or anything, just my 2cents
