    Well done Rob. They are a bloody nice eating fish
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

    Oh here we go , what are those wool swimming trunks like. (ha ha)

    I had the young fellas out this morning for a fish, the Barra are thick due to local flooding a couple of week back and very FIESTY.

    Heading back later today for another go will keep you posted.

    Lived in Darwin for 18 months and got some great Barra fishing in the top end, and some great magpie goose shooting as well.

    Aw man, don't post that stuff. I will be crying all night now. I've caught their American cousins (snook) and have always wanted to get a decent barra. They look like so much fun.

    Maaaaate!!!!! im inn tears also as i used to chase those cunning bugger's in FNQ, nice fish mate did you use bombers?? i can see a spotty lure there?.Nice mate fuckn sobbing in my corner now

    No luck with the Barra this afternoon but had a good time trying , a few of the other fisherman had a bit more luck.
    The lures that seem too work are called Barra classic , there is always tomorrow, the Dam wall went over 8m with the last rain event and as it has been stocked with fish the river is now well stocked.
