Oh here we go , what are those wool swimming trunks like. (ha ha)
I had the young fellas out this morning for a fish, the Barra are thick due to local flooding a couple of week back and very FIESTY.
Heading back later today for another go will keep you posted.
Cheers Rob
Idk much about barra but it seems huge from the few I have seen that et guy catch on tv
Lived in Darwin for 18 months and got some great Barra fishing in the top end, and some great magpie goose shooting as well.
certainly a great part of the world , Northern Territory put it on the bucket list as a must do.
Aw man, don't post that stuff. I will be crying all night now. I've caught their American cousins (snook) and have always wanted to get a decent barra. They look like so much fun.
Maaaaate!!!!! im inn tears also as i used to chase those cunning bugger's in FNQ, nice fish mate did you use bombers?? i can see a spotty lure there?.Nice mate fuckn sobbing in my corner now:TT TT:
No luck with the Barra this afternoon but had a good time trying , a few of the other fisherman had a bit more luck.
The lures that seem too work are called Barra classic , there is always tomorrow, the Dam wall went over 8m with the last rain event and as it has been stocked with fish the river is now well stocked.
Cheers Rob
Nice Rob:cool:I love the Northern Territory:thumbsup:
The only place I would live in Aussie if I had to ;)
