    Which is better in quality photos

    I had a Coolpix 900, and it did a few yrs of good service but the old girl gave up the ghost a couple of months ago. My ex loaned me a Panasonic Lumix about 1200 mm . Yesterday I took a brilliant photo of a quality hog deer stag but the result was far from satisfactory, lots of other pics I took are not top product.
    So I'm on the market for something like the Coolpix ,
    950 or a canon sx 70 HS, the canon is much more streamlined and at my old age of 75 I fing lugging things around the mountains strenues. So basically I'm asking if anyone out there has the canon and is the quality up there. Ta

    @SmokeyJason if someone can give you the answer you are after i might have a mint SX70 coming up for sale.
    All i have used is the Canon sx range and have found them excellent but i have nothing to compare them to
