    I have used both the 60 and the 70, currently running the 70. Both models I found flicking to manual focus at long distance and winding the focus to infinity gave the best footage. It also completely removes the autofocus having a spack in low light trying to sort its life out. The other bonus is if anything like grass whips in front of the lens, it won't focus on it. Canon sensors are not renowned for low light performance so if that's really important to you, go Sony.
