    DOWN SIZING PHOTOS

    Any Samsung Galaxy S9+ experts on here.My phone use to take reasonable size photos to put on here.Now the photos are just to big for the forum.Iv tryed to down size photos but no luck.Any help would be appreciated.

    On a newer Samsung S21. Open the image and hit the edit button (pencil looking thing), crop to desired size, then hit the 3 little dot thing in right hand corner. You will see the resize option. Hope that helps.

    Thanks guys il have a look later.Went to put up a couple of deer photos but the photos so big,bloody near blu the sides of the the old lap top.

    The same process for the older ones too.
    I resized a photo of some shorn sheep the other day so @7mmwsm and others couldn't scrutinise to closely.

    Another of the reasons for "not" doing it is the neighbours pets.
    Some if you can tip them over I cant drag.

    Your info worked Bobba,i sized down to 40%,seems to work well.

    If it's for a laptop, I loaded a widget called Windows Powertoys Image Resizer. It basically adds resize as an option when you right click a photo or a selection of photos in Windows Explorer. It is brilliantly quick and unobtrusive. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/wi.../image-resizer

    Iv had my old ACER lap top 10yrs,dont make it toooo complicated for me.Like my cell phones,only replace when they have died,had 4 in 28yrs.

    @Trout - hang in there buddy. Push through, and you will have discovered the easiest possible way to resize pics on a laptop. You don't even need to open the image in another app.
