Great specimens. Are the bottom two photos of the same animal?
Great pics and heads.
My guess its in the UK. James is a 10 pound pom :) and I think is over there at present.
Nice animals there James
Fantastic pictures! Correct me if I'm wrong but it's the same buck in all four pictures? Looks to have the same split guard tine and slightly palmated bey tine on his right antler?
Looks like the same buck to me
My guess is England, we had a deer park with fallow where I grew up that was open to the public. As kids we used to try and stalk them but never got close.
probably lucky they did not chase you lol
Holy gamoly
You can clearly see he likes to use his right side antler more.
Monster paddles there.
I guess way way back ours came with those kind of genes lack of feed and a lack of careful culling and the Wanganui fallow pitiful - but beauty in the eye of the beholder - I have taken new hunters out shot a head probably go 200 and they stoked - most heads we get where we hunt 180 ish and always split palms -just a guess that chap up 260 plus - with the releasing going on here we may start to see better - seeing a lot of menil which here means could have been released most Wanganui melanistic- lets hope so - but man the angry little buggers do their heads some damage especially if they squashing thru fences let alone fighting
