High country pigs and wallabies

I better put in a yummy before micky does, those gingers are just about all fatties, bit of a singe and viola just the bones left.Lovely spot there old chap

I took a shot at one of the pigs with the 223 at 170m, but missed.

The pigs I've shot in that country have been as lousy as hell, and I wasn't that keen on the flavor of the meat (pigs are what they eat though, and can vary sharply even over smallish distances).

This guy was camped on a week old tahr carcass that we came across while out in the mid Canterbury tops over show weekend.
Charged without warning from close range then swerved off and copped a running shot at 50m.
I'm not a pig hunter, exciting times.

@Tentman do you mean lousy as in they have lice or lousy as in shit condition?
