    Road Trip...Napier Taihape Taupo

    Yes it was called the "Red Barrell" about 20 years ago when I was in the military. The Army lads had many good nights there on weekends off.
    It is now called The Pub & Grub.

    Turret heads vs pogues😆

    Was always fun being a grunt from the south on course watching that rivalry. I assumed it stemmed from all the hidings RNZEME gave the turret heads on the rugby field.😆

    Dundee was a grunt. They used him for mine clearing. Specialist he was.

    Too short to use the detecting equipment, he was often seen with fingers in his ears stomping around suspected minefields😆
