    Shotgun Cam

    Anyone got a setup for videoing thier shotgun handywork?

    a cheap helmet cam that is a cylinder shape strapped to the side of the gun works well it fits perfect on a benelli with mag exttender. I will try hunt down some photos. If you want very good footage get a go pro and attach it to your ear muffs or hat. comes out mint. if you can b convince the Mrs to hold a handy cam also you get two points of view which makes a good watch.

    Is this just documentary, or is your aim to use it as a training aid ?

    I'd go with head mounted gopro as well, strong side ear muff, so you get decent alignment with the barrel

    +1 on multiple point of view, especially for training aid. For IPSC, we used one vid camera over strong side shoulder, and one from side. You get to fix a lot of problems real quick by watching yourself shoot

    I might find a old set of muffs and attach a mates GoPro to them

    Used our new GoPro today trout fishing.Bloody amazing dimension to fishing. On river for 4.5 hours and no other fishermen in sight.Saw some nice prints so swapping fly rod for the Tikka tomorrow.Going to use GoPro for pheasant shooting this year.Mounted on helmet.
