Question Thoughts on Canon Powershot 730 HS?

Hi guys, I'm looking at purchasing a Powershot 730 HS second hand from a guy on the forum (see link) but wanted to know if anyone has experience with it as a camera for a) hunting (w/ 40x zoom) and b) general photography of landscapes etc when you're out in the hills. Any example photos would be epic.
Also, some may have seen my previous thread on the Panasonic Lumix TZ80. Anyone believe one is better than the other? The Powershot is obviously much cheaper 2nd hand through forum member than a TZ80 new.

    Cheers

Haven't used one of these specifically, but to really get the best out of 60x magnification (around 3000mm equivalent in full frame!) you will need to get a support, preferably a reasonable tripod. Even manipulating the camera controls with the camera mounted on a tripod can cause the images to blur at that sort of magnification, especially when the light isn't great and slower shutter speeds are called for.

Excellent wee “super-zoom” camera. While you don’t get true super zoom like the bigger brother 60 or 70SX the size and portability of the 730 makes it very easy to take on extended trips into the hills where you’re trying to save weight.
