    Yep got them (several). They are thugs when it comes to chasing other birds but nice to see around the place. Bloody cat got one the other day.
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    madjon you don't know how much I love Tuis....I am Tui mad. I have pictures, paintings, plates, stuffed animals.... They may be bullies but they are awesome. Something about girls loving a bad boy. I seriously adore these birds. Great picture dude

    You need a dog like mine Rushy ,he sorted a feral cat down the river the other night.Not much of a contest 50kg dog v feral cat ,ironic the Tui singing its head off across the river after.

    There is a bird watching club/group that have trapped pests planted more natives etc in that gully. Maybe them ?

    Tui are quite cool but was admittedly a little disappointed when I found out that the white tuft of feathers wasn't the inflatable sack that I thought it was

    When we were rafting yesterday we saw one fully emersing itself in the river for a wash. It flew up into a willow beside the river and was quite content to look at us as we floated by.The control of possum numbers and cats has allowed them to once again live in urban areas.
