Nice web site. More close up details of the work will help. Good feature about the trauma kits.

Your camera and photo skills are just fine and up to the task, mate. If anything, cut down on the resolution so the images don't take ages to load. Too often a higher resolution image will add no useful extra detail.

Close ups is what is needed because we all know that anyone can paint a gun... fewer can do it so it looks good close up.

BTW surprisingly impressive characteristics for the air-curing Ceracote types compared to the oven curing ones. Is it smelly to work with?

No surprise. Had to be potent stuff. Stay safe. Just because it's your baby don't mean it won't turn on you.

Has been a massive week, and the job list isn't getting any smaller...
Got to finish this project I started that now belongs in the hands of one very happy young lady, mind you think dad has his eye on it.
Thanks to Paul @ NZ Hydrographics here in Tauranga on a fantastic cherry red carbon finish on the Ruger Skeleton stock. Rifle finished in the new Cobalt and fair to say this thing pops.
Enjoy young lady, looking forward to seeing the spoils.
    Cheers William.

Dan and I had been discussing his rifle for some time and what was the way to go, well he was ready so got it down to me.

When it arrived strip down commenced, stock was whipped over to Paul @ NZ Hydrographics, he's finished it in Dissolve Bare.

Meanwhile working on a colour pattern to match a different digi-camo (product failed) came up with Magpul Foliage Green with Desert Verde & Coyote Tan accents.

Rifle finished, stock arrived, put it all together and send snapshot to Dan, one happy man. Thanks bud for allowing me to look after your toy.

Now that is nice. Hope he doesn’t leave it leaning against a log cause he’s gonna have trouble finding it again

I have had this rifle in bits for some time and had wondered what to do....

I came up with a plan when I decided to try out the Midnight Bronze (fantastic colour I might add) I accented it with Cobalt which makes a nice contrast.

I had the stock for sometime with nice Rimu inserts, decided to get Paul @ NZ Hydrographics to do his bit with the Black Grey Snake Skin with Bronze under coat in a matte finish.

Once I got it all together it has just transformed, loving this and think it might be my new fav...

Finally, my pet project has come to completion!

Been a labor of love and struggle to get the bits I needed but we have got there in the end.

Finished in Cobalt (striking colour in the flesh) with accents of Burnt Bronze just to add the finishing touches.

This little beauty is a delight, the 6.5x68RWS Magnum throws 3 142g Nosler LRAB's into the same hole, even with me pulling the trigger.

Like the stock, hit up Clayton @ Stronghold Innovations in Hamilton.
