I had a nod at 20, 25, 30 so settled for 30th so it keep shooting well after a bit of throat erosion. It seems to be barrel/powder type, charge dependent, heard some people finding sweet spot at 120th other kissing the land. Factory 180 eldm is also at 60th in my barrel and does ok.Quote:

Having less jump seems also to reduce pressure. I tested 60th (like factory 180) with same charge and was getting 2960-2970fps and slight ejector marks
Interesting. Every rifles going to be different i guess but from my experience, using FED215 which is whats used for hornady data, book max has definitely been max in my rifle for 2225 2217 and RL26
