Thread: 22 Lithgow

I have been playing around with my Lithgow 22LR as a Benchrest rifle for a while now, quite handy with a magazine

We built a new stock for it out of a block of Purple Heart



I got a lovely True-Flite barrel fitted to it, thanks Grant



It shoots really well, this was 10 rapid shots in the wind this morning at 50 yards



We are really looking forward to using it at the Pacific Regional's this coming weekend

is it an old school one or one of those new cross dressers

rimfires can be interesting to play with as your limited by the ammo thats available

Nice. And at 50 yards?

Well the conditions were pretty average earlier this week for the Pacific Regional Champs.

The Rifle shot really well, the shooter not so much

Managed to get all 6 cards in the 240s with the best 245.10 out of a possible 250 which was only shot once in the comp, man those Aussie's can shoot

Still, I managed 6th over all & first Kiwi



My partner beat me again with a better score on one card of 246.07

She had 5 cards in the 240s but the last one on Monday was only a 220.04

A front came through it started to blow its arse off when she was half way through

15 mins after they finished it was raining heavily, really blowing, then hailing hard out.

Hervé won LV with Kiwis 2nd & 3rd....opps no Aussies

I won HV , 2nd in teams HV, 6th overall.
