Thread: 338 Norma

Here is the 338 Norma on a 700 action.
Fluted PT&G bolt, light weight firing pin & shroud
Fluted 26" Trueflite UM barrel T3 Terminator brake.
It is bedded into a 700p stock with 5 shot mag.

So far she is shooting the 300s 1/2 moa at just over 2800 fps





Took her up the range again this morning with the Berger 300 OTMs seated to mag length



It is pushing the 300s slightly faster than the Edge, with a few grains less powder, but there is nothing in it really.

It really is a neat little round, I have two others, that shoot incredibly well, this is the first one on a 700 that I have made
