    375 Terminator

I have got my 375 Terminator going again after waiting for a new reamer since May....
It has also had a name change it was 375 Lil'Terminator.
I needed to change the reamer to better suit the dies available.
It is basically a 375 Lapua 40 degree improved.
I have fired heaps of Cutting Edge pills out of it since I built it earlier this year.
It has a Bartlein gain twist 32" barrel & Terminator T3 brake, it soon will have a T4 to help with recoil.
Barnard P-Chey action & XLR HD stock.

Since that photo the bolt has been fluted, which makes it much nicer to use.

Here is a Video of Ashlee shooting it.

It preforms surprisingly well, approx speeds with CE bullets in this platform are,

    350, 3100 fps, 375, 3000 fps, 400, 2900 fps, 425, 2800 fps.

With powder weights from, 110-117 grains.

Here is it's first hunting outing

    Ashlees first Red Deer.

    It shoots pretty well.

Here is a group I shot this morning with 350s at 217 yards

The ES of this 3 shot group is pretty average, some groups have an ES less than 5 with the vast majority being under 10

It is an economical 375 compared to a Cheytac based variant, it uses cheaper brass, dies & less powder

It is approx 200fps slower than some of the Cheytac improved cases.

Ashlee & I shot another 375 Terminator today doing final load development

Recoil is reasonably mild with the T5 Terminator brake on it

I still haven't got the T4 or T6s done yet bloody machinists.....

    Video of Ashlee firing it

The resulting group at 504 yards

Be a sad world if you could not invent new calibres or improve them.At least you are safe from the police hand held radar because they could never get close enough to you to identify you.Man you put some time and effort into your "hobby"

I doubt it, this is only a "baby" 375

I have no idea what toys the army have.
