    IIRC its really just scaled up 30-06, sure it uses 230 odd grains of powder but they are going down a BIG hole, the jackets are most likely no harder than other jackets on the Amaxes.

    If you look after it & don't get it to hot (that's what kills accuracy/barrel life the fastest) it should last 3-5K+, 45-75 kgs of powder & 144-245 kgs of projectiles
