    6.5-284 Sako 75

I got my first 6.5-284 Lapua/Norma up & running today

Customer supplied a Sako 75 270 with a very nice NEAR rail

    It has a 26", #4, 1-8 Bartlein barrel

I loaded up some Berger 140 Elite Hunters & took it up the range

It got better & better until I run out of bullets, still didn't hit any pressure, can't be far away though

So a total of 20 rounds fired & shes ready to go to the customer

@ Kiwi Greg, Every time you post photos of a rifle build the work is awesome and the groups are astonishing straight-off for new firearms.
I know that you are probably guided by the 'Force' + instinct and experience, but could you tell me what your method is for getting the seating depth correct Q. What is the Go -To clearance off lands and what is your method of setting it ??

I generally find the length to the lands using a case with a split neck then take 0.2mm 8-10 thou.

It doesn't work all the time but is a good place to start

It weighs 4.515 kgs bare no scope, so not light.
