Because it only produces a 5% increase in performance for a 45% increase in powder over the 6.5x55 all the reamers and custom builds have been packed up and taken to the dump and the factory rifles sent back to where they came from.

Weights pretty reasonable

So is the 6.5prc and 300prc a totally different case? 6.5 looks much shorter, kind of like a large wsm and the 300 looks long like a 30 nosler with straighter walls?

Yes, the 6.5 PRC is essentially a shortened 300 Ruger Compact Magnum necked down to 6.5, it will fit in a short action Rem 700 & Long action Tikka
The 300 PRC is essentially a 375 Ruger Magnum necked down to 30 cal, I made this wildcat around 7 years ago, it will fit in a long action Rem 700 but not a Tikka.
