    6mm Saum

Finally after a years wait due to putting clients builds in front of my own here is my 6mm Saum.

It weighs 3.445 kgs, 7.6 lbs with suppressor.

The 80 grain TTSXs get along fairly well

The 90 Siroccos aren't too bad either

It has TF barrel, light firing pin, fluted bolt, Carbon fibre stock, all the usual stuff

Its a Remington Model 7 action, very nice it is too

I'm going to try some 77 grain Cutting Edge bullets in it, they will be very interesting
Terminator, Nesika, kokako and 1 others like this.

IIRC, its been a year...its 1-10, not really ideal, I might try the 105 Bergers just to get a velocity, I doubt they will stabilise.

Thanks, I figured its a smaller version of my 6.5 Wsm that does its job so well

I might build a really light 6mm or 6.5mm depends which one takes my fancy comparing the two

I had another trip to the range again today, great results with Barnes 80 grain TTSXs at 3670 fps & the 77 grain CEB projectiles at 3800 fps with the same charge of 2225

Also tried Berger 105 Hybrids, I knew they wouldn't stabilise but I wanted to get an idea of possible velocity with the right twist barrel, looks like 3450-3500 fps
