Brought an old Barnard S varmint weight 1-12 223 off TM recently, it shot pretty well with 53 V-Max but I wanted more so rechambered it in 22 Terminator
I had a couple of unfired Bartlein barrels that were chambered in 22 & 6 x 47 Lapua for a Defiance PRS style rifle that I sold, so I got them fitted to the Barnard & rechambered in 22 & 6 Creedmoor
The 223 shot very well & nothing changed except the handy increase in velocity once it was rechambered in 22TM
The 22CM 1-7 barrel shoots extremely with tiny groups at 100 with 88 ELDMs & 90 A-Tips with fantastic velocity, so I shot it at an old target sitting in the grass at 200 meters, once I put a shot on it to aim at, the first group was really good for 4 shots until mirage off the suppressor changed that for the 5th shot
Later I dialed it down & shot a nice triangle for the last group with the wind picking up, the velocities on that picture are wrong they start with a 3 not a 2
The weight makes it extremely easy to shoot, the 24" barrels gives great performance, I haven't shot the 6CM yet
I have built a few 22 Creedmoor now & have another in the works for a good customer, hopefully the engraver will get the spelling right for his rifle
