Thread: Bergara 300 PRC

Got this going in the weekend



Used a Bergara donor rifle with Bartlein barrel with T2 muzzle brake & Timney CE trigger.



Decided to keep the factory stock on it as its a test rifle



I quite like the look of it & certainly is more than adequate for a budget build, didn't even bed it.



You know you are doing something right when your first group with a brand new cartridge in a new rifle looks like this



A more rigid carbon stock would definitely make it easier to shoot small groups consistently



It is showing plenty of potential with only 20 rounds down it

Will it go harder than 2950?

Interested to see if it will be similar performance to a 300 Norma

I doubt it will go has hard as the 300NM, it has approx 12 grains of water capacity less.

26” barrel?

25.75" barrel for some reason

It might go 3000 fps with the 212 ELDX, time will tell

My loads, factory was 2825 ish in this rifle

How much difference in the factory PRC and your 30-375?

That thing was humming with 208’s
