    Christensen CA 10 6.5 Creedmoor

I put a 20" Proof Research 6.5 Creedmoor barrel in my Christensen CA10.

It weighs 4.955 kgs 10.92 Lbs with the DPT suppressor.

I had to get an .875 adjustable gas block for it.

Pretty earlier into load development to be fair, but it's showing plenty of promise for a gas gun

Seems to like the Berger 130 AR Hybrid.

The Hornady 147 ELDM is showing promise, it didn't like the 143 ELDX.....yes the pic is wrong, Sunday arvo blues

The 147 has the ballistic & terminal performance edge so I will try tuning the load a bit more, I find it much easier shooting a Bolt rather than a Gas gun

Much easier to shoot with only one recoil impulse eh Greg.

What do the five shot groups look like?

I find the trigger position troublesome as well....

What's your target made out of, painted board?
I don't think I've ever seen you with a picture of a paper target.
The recoil impulse is interesting, never thought about that.

I have a Joinery Factory at my finger tips with endless Melamine off cuts for my target holder

Paper targets are very average when pined onto or target backers at the range, especially when damp...

Card is much better but $$$ compared to off cuts with the amount I go through.

    Fair enough.
If the backer is wet I put the paper target in a samwich bag.

    Yep,

You get three with a gas gun

One when you fire, one when the bolt group pushes the buffer into your shoulder and the final one when the bolt locks home again....

Not much of a problem on the AR 15, their BCG is so much smaller & lighter, even with the gas turned down nicely the big one moves the platform heaps.

The lighter weight of the CA 10 won't be helping much.

I took it up the range last night, got a little dark for the Oehler so no velocities

Looking pretty good, now I just need to duplicate it & get some velocities tomorrow

Your bullet has not stabilised at a 100 yard , it is fishtailing a bit ;-)
