Wow. The engineering and shooting skill all coming together like that is impressive!
I have yet to fully watch the vid and also the previous record vid but there appears to be a few comments around the 69 shots fired and the eventuality of getting a hit.
Never the less impressive.
Sure, it's quite interesting but if the ground rules were you're gotta connect within three shots, it would be more meaningful. If someone takes say fifty shots to connect, is this much better than some random just having a go with their basic .338 and getting lucky?

Yeh, sure, it's a ridiculous distance but I still think there's too much "spray and pray" in what they achieved. It'd be interesting to see how much quicker they could hit a target at 5000yds.
Hard to know what the wind conditions are or how variable across the 7000 yds but I can imagine there’s plenty of room for error or change in flight. Even so the dispersion pattern seemed pretty random & scoring a hit after 50+ rounds seemed more like luck than anything else.
Watched the first video - what was the part from New Zealand that they mentioned?
@Kiwi Greg mentioned muzzle brakes so I guess that’s the ‘parts’?)
