Greg if you can ensure the supply of brass and dies then you would earn more support for your ideas. Not saying you haven't done this already, but if there was plenty of brass lying round then you will help your cause a lot...

It is about the only thing that has ever put me off building certain wildcats...

I know what you are talking about

The 375R is the only one that is an "issue" having said that, I have 300 more brass & some more dies coming & will have a word to the importer about bringing some in......what good that will do I'm not sure

But currently the 375 is half your range of cals...

Will the 6mm-204 fit in a Mini Mauser?

I haven't shot any with that much jump yet.
Some of the pills are very forgiving especially in the smaller calibres.
I could have a play for you when it gets back from fluting.
What weight pills are you considering using ?

That is just max OAL of the mag as far as research shows me, not any actual rifle measurments... I think the 80gr GMX and 87gr projectiles would be fine and you have already shown those figures, thanks:-)

Geeze Greg why would you want to do.something different and interesting or come up.with something efficient and practical. Why the hell would anyone want magnum performance that fits .INSIDE the mag. Who wants a barrel friendly caliber anyway.

I think your filling a nieche neglected by the masses and if I werent already having a 284 built I would be all over. I chose the cartridge cause I to am not hung up on velocities but wanted decent range capabilities woth good barrel life. Dont let the nay sayers put you off.
