I have no doubt that a break reduce recoil way better than a suppressor. But I still think that your test is somewhat biased.
When you shoot a heavy recoiling rifle with a suppressor compared to the same rifle bare, you can feel a significant reduction in the way the recoil act on your shoulder.

You could do the same test with a weight hanging on the front via a pulley system attached to the rifle. The pulley should be on a ball bearing to reduce frictions of course.
The weight hanging could be the weight of the rifle bare for exemple. That way you can test different rifles of different weight with a similar protocol each time. I would be keen to see the results...

What I have recently noticed on all the brake, suppressor comparisons that you need to include the weight of the suppressor on the rig every time you fire it.

In some of the earlier comparisons I was removing the weight of the suppressor from the rig when firing it without the suppressor, this is the wrong procedure.

The weight of the suppressor increases the weight of the rifle, this alone reduces recoil.

The weight on the pulley you mention is similar to Deans rig which shows the same results as my rig.

In this video you can clearly see the rifle recoil significantly more with the suppressor than the brake, it is over 6 kilos heavier with the suppressor compared to the brake.

I suspect if I added the weight of the suppressor to the rifle with the brake on, it would barely move when fired, it is a heavy bit of kit when attached, ask this guy

I could possibly fire it without the brake but the suppressor weight would need to be firmly attached

There are 7 suppressor VS brake comparisons on my channel.
