    Tikka 284 Win

    I built this up recently & finally had the chance to get it to the range yesterday arvo in the wind...



    I wanted a bit more punch than the 7-08



    I got the 22" Bartlien RM profile barrel fluted to lose a bit of weight



    Its sitting in one of Kens old stocks that no one wanted at the shot expo



    First group was pretty good followed by a few others, 20 rounds & its ready to go



    Might try some more loads.... as you do...it might get better...then chuck the hunting scope on & put it to work....once it rains.....

    I put a VX5 yesterday on it so I can take it hunting, no Aluminas for a while took it to the range today.



    I got it on target then shot a group off the bench, then prone, then zeroed it



    Shoots pretty well, looking forward to taking in hunting next week
