Thread: Belmont Ammunition Query

I have just made my first mail order purchase from Belmont Ammo. All paid for and mail order form done. Do they keep you updated by e-mail and if so do they wait until they receive the Police verification. Just asking as I would have thought I'd of heard something by now also realising we've had a long weekend.

They didn’t with me, but confirmed all was good and product on its way when I asked them.

Depending on the arms officers it’s anything from a day to a week before the form is emailed to them all completed

Cheers, Police said Belmont would have it that afternoon so in theory it should be in transit.

I was lucky and a sympathetic local shop allowed me to get the ammo sent directly to them so didn't need the paperwork . And then refused the dozen beer I offered them for being such good buggers !!

Update. Order went in last Friday (30th) picked up today from depot (5th) and would have been delivered yesterday except truck driver got a bit confused. Excellent service, well done Belmont.

Corrected to accurately describe, Wanganui Police ......

I was in Whanganui last year for the pistol nats, decided to buy a shotgun from Delta mike over the web,.
went to the police station to do a mail order form and was told it would be that day,
fast fwd to week later and Delta mike say no form yet, did another mail order form through my local(ashburton police) and it got sent 2 min after i left.
3 WEEKS LATER the original Whanganui form got sent to them......fucking useless

Make an official complaint.
They are public SERVANTS after all and they seem to forget that all to often.

They've been first class in my dealings with them.
