Thread: 22lr lead

Not a recipe as such, but this seemed the most appropriate place to put this.
Put a lamb neck in the slow cooker today, upon shredding the meat I found the 22lr projectile used to slaughter the lamb.
Given 22lr projectiles are predominantly lead, will the fact it has been stewing in the slow cooker all day introduce dangerous levels of lead into the meat?
