    Afternoon in the kitchen

I felt lazy so decided to spend the arvo in the kitchen. The leftover roast got turned into Rendang (a dry Indonesian curry) and while that was bubbling away I cut up all the remaining chillis in the garden as well as a few from the freezer that were too spicy to be of any use. Add some garlic, ginger and enough water to steam it all. Once done use the stick blender and bag/freeze it.

Just 1 point to remember if you try this, don't use the pot/wooden spoon/ blender on anything non spicy for some time. The spicyness soaks into everything.

Well it may look like something the dog threw up but the wife who loves spicy just tried it, a pinhead size taste test had her sweating and guzzling milk.
