Not long now till the new breasts arrive

Countdown to 4. Mai 2013 06:30 in Auckland

Tonight we had cheesy duck breasts



Open breast and fill with cheese



Try not to eat any while the Cheff is at work



Don't think that cheese bite was noticed

In the pan



Cooked well done so it doesn't quack while eating it






Spuds ,mashed (ummm) pumpkin and a few greens for Sean

At least you didnt cross the streams there Dundee (watties with Barbecue) It could have been dangerous.

Had trouble with workmate murdering whitebait at Maruia. A quick tackle and bail him out of the kitchen allowed me to take over and rescue the dinner. Best whitebait feed he'd ever had. Still enjoyed telling my dear old that in all honesty no one could tell the difference between whitebait patties and mock whitebait patties (with grated potato as a substitute for the whitebait).

I can just about tell you what river they are out of, by the look and taste. Arawhata, deep run bait, is the best of the lot by miles

R93 such a culinary delight as whitebait does not deserve to be placed in such imminent danger of being inundated with tomato sauce. I suggest you bring it here where no supervision will be needed
