Thread: Deer Block Recipe

4 Loaves of toasted bread and cut into cubes
500 grams of dried acorns
400 mls molasses
400 mls honey
400 mls peanut butter
350 grams soya powder
Mix breads cubes with molasses first then add honey and mix well then add peanut butter then add acorns

Place in the sunlight for a few hours till cured , add a wire when placed in the sun this is used to hang later

Bake in the oven 200f till block has gone hard

Hang in the tree at a good hunting spot

Ok, I'll fess up first - I started out reading this thinking it would be a good new way of turning out the venison in the freezer and by the time I got to the acorns I was all - WTF??

I reckon hanging this up with a camera watching it would be great

Probably cheaper just to buy the Venison
