Does anyone have any good ideas on how they take eggs when they go hunting.
I vac pack meals etc but got me thinking can an uncooked egg be vac packed and kept for a few days.
Any ideas

You can buy little 6 pack plastic versions of the cardboard egg cartons. Prevents them from being smashed/broken.
I dehydrate raw eggs recently
Powdered them and 3 eggs in each tiny zip lock bag
Haven't used any yet
But add some milk powder to the bag
Drop it in simmering water for 5 minutes
Cooked
Should be nice with some bits of salami and chunks of cheese in there
@25/08IMP I’ve done that a couple of times. I whisk em up in a bowl at home with some salt & pepper & some grated cheese & then vac pack. Longest I’ve had em out in the field would be like 3 days. Then just boil em in my billy & it’s kinda like scrambled egg.
I don’t refrigerate my eggs at home, keep em in the pantry. & they don’t refrigerate em at the supermarket. So I don’t see this as much different storage-wise. Biggest challenge is vacuum packing em though cos the vacuum will want to suck up the liquid.
Take a live chook.
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing, and right-doing, there is a field. I will meet you there.
