Thread: Hydration

The one I've been using is similar to the first one:

100g sea salt
8g Epsom salts
2g cream of tartar
1g of mix to 1L of water
Add orange juice, cordial etc to flavour

Seems to work OK.

I'm confused. What am I missing? 1g/litre is 0.1%. For the stated required 1% solution you need 10g/L. No?

Good point, so 10g is about 1.5 teaspoons...... 1/4 of a teaspoon per 500ml like I was doing is quite salty
