Thread: Hydration

Hello all,

I think there is a recipe that may be the same as below or similar in a thread somewhere but I can't place my finger on it.

Ive tried alot of hydration brands over the last little while but most have alot of sugar.

Was talking to an older person a couple of months ago and they gave me this home made recipe and it works fantasticly.

100gm of pure sea salt
2 teaspoons of Epsom salts
1 teaspoon of Cream of Tartar

Blend well in a blender and use at a ratio of 1/4 of a teaspoon per 500ml of water. It taste slightly like a strong mineral water and you can use water flavor drops to mask the saltiness if required of mix with raro if you want the sugar boost for extra energy going up hill!

Sea salt give you sodium and other trace minerals, Epsom salts is magnesium, and cream of tartar is potassium.
